Chronic pain is not a choice. It affects brain and body functions, takes mental energy, challenges a person's coping capacity, and can be depressing.  It can interfere with mental control, memory, attention, and general functioning.  This loss of function, productivity, and independence is discouraging and some feel hopeless. People living with chronic pain often lose their sense of self. They feel worthless and very alone.

And if a doctor has told you that nothing is wrong with you but you have chronic pain, working with a pain coach can help you.

If any of that sounds familiar to you, please contact us because it does not need to be this way!

There is a better way of existing while living with chronic pain. You can have a life after a chronic pain diagnosis.  It just takes a little re-inventing and re-wiring.

This is NOT mind over matter type of work.  You cannot think your pain away, but there are interventions paired together while working with a health & wellness coach that may help you manage your pain better.

After my mother passes away, I lost my guidance.  I lost my friend, my advisor and my coach.  I was so grateful to have Cindy in my life.  She was born for this.  I am 37 and suffer from pain everyday.  I have for the past two years.  Doctors downplay my pain; they often associate my pain with the loss of my mother and I have been told multiple times that I was just depressed and overweight and that was my problem.  I have had real symptoms pushed under the rug.  I got to a point that I was complaisant with my pain.  I figured it was just a part of my life and I should give up.  Cindy said no! You must fight for yourself and stand up for yourself.  She reminded me to not give up.

I am not cured of my issues, but thanks to Cindy's guidance and support, I maintain a sense of self now that I never had before.  I am pushing my doctors now by asking the right questions and making them really pay attention.  It is so important to me now.

I am learning to put myself first.  I am learning that I don't have to bend to other's wills and that my feelings matter.  It's ok to say no.

If you want a great life coach, informative person to guide you, and a friend, Cindy is the best choice.  I will continue to have her in my life to help me to make my way, not just muddle through life.

When we get into a predictable routine, we do the same things over and over, sometimes without even thinking about it. Taking the same route every day can become so routine that we can sometimes end up at the destination but not remember the drive.  Have you ever had something similar happen to you?  You successfully maneuvered the activity without incident but you were completely on autopilot.

Our brains will choose the path of least resistance. It is how we are wired.  There is a network of latticework throughout the brain making many avenues of solutions to take but our brains will choose the easiest most familiar route even if it is not the best route.

It will choose the familiar to relieve ourselves of having to think about new avenues. Our brains become lazy and keep us on the same worn path even if it's not taking us where we really want to go.

Research proves that you can teach your brain new tricks.  The brain has an enormous capacity to adapt influencing how we feel and act.  You can harness your brain’s power to adapt to your life with chronic pain.

In our sessions, we will do a lot of “thinking about thinking.”  Our input and output data influence the lattice network connections within our brains and we can control input and output data.

The fact that you can think, the fact that you can navigate this website, the fact that you are able to reason in and out of situations, all of this is what give you the ability to improve your circumstances.  You have the power and the ability within yourself to develop new channels of thinking within your brain.

The guiding principle of restoring your sense of power and control is the goal of each session.

Take the time now to change your future. Contact Cindy for your free 20-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit to work together.
